A wallet
Free. It's where your USDC lives and how you approve payments. Ambire creates one in a single click.
New to crypto
A wallet, a few dollars of USDC, and one confirmation. This guide walks you through it the first time, step by step.
Free. It's where your USDC lives and how you approve payments. Ambire creates one in a single click.
Enough for the first payment. Buy it with a card, or move it from an exchange you already use.
No ETH for fees, no trading, no account at AddonPass. Your wallet stays yours.
Step by step
Pick where you're starting from. Each path ends at the same place: the addon working in Stremio.
Add the free Ambire Wallet extension to Chrome, Brave or Edge. The button below opens its official store page.
Ambire opens a new tab. Click Create new account and it's ready in seconds. Later, back up its recovery phrase in Ambire before you keep more than a few dollars in it.
Buy USDC on Coinbase or another exchange, then send it to your Ambire address on the Base network. No exchange account? Card services like MoonPay or Transak deliver USDC on Base, but charge about 4% and often a minimum fee.
On the checkout, pick Connect a wallet, choose Ambire, and sign in. Signing in is free and moves no money.
Confirm in Ambire. AddonPass covers the network fee, so you pay only the plan price.
Open your private install link and Stremio adds the addon. Renewals happen automatically until you cancel.
Stay safe
Write it on paper once your wallet holds money. Support and AddonPass will never ask for it.
When you move USDC, pick Base. Sending on a different network can lose the money.
Scammers plant look-alike addresses in your history. They match the start and the end, so check every character.

Questions
No. AddonPass covers the network fee for Base Account and Ambire. You pay the plan price in USDC and nothing else.
They're the wallets where AddonPass can cover the network fee, so you only need USDC and never have to buy ETH. Both approve the payment and its spending limit in one confirmation. Other Base wallets work too, but you'd pay a small network fee in ETH yourself.
You approve a maximum up front, for example 12 monthly payments. The addon can charge only the fixed price, only once per period, and never more than that limit.
Yes, anytime from My subscriptions. Future payments stop, and access stays until the end of the period you paid for.
Access continues for up to 3 days while AddonPass retries, which gives you time to add USDC.
A passkey usually syncs through your Apple, Google or password-manager account. An Ambire wallet comes back with your recovery phrase. AddonPass can't recover wallets for you.
Payments are final once confirmed. You can ask the addon's developer for a voluntary refund; that's their decision.
